Note that this doesn't hold true for rogues. The idea that only slow MHs are viable is just persisting old theory when it comes to fury warriors, even on Horde side. There are already tons of warriors doing amazing damage with daggers+ACLG and these swords essentially play like fury daggers, but you get to wear better gloves, they have better stats, and they get a better AP coefficient on Whirlwind because they're swords.Įven if those sims are overvaluing the warblades to a huge amount during execute phase they are still going to be good. Using any of the readily available fury DPS simulators out there the warblades are better than any available dagger combo and beats any weapon combo that doesn't include one of CTS or Crul'shorukh. To counteract that, fast attack speed weapons have more opportunities to heroic strike than slow ones. The only ability that a warrior uses that benefits from slow weapon speed is Whirlwind which still has normalized attack power contribution and is on a 10 second cool down. Bloodthirst does not take into consideration weapon speed at all, it's entirely reliant on attack power which the two swords have in abundance. The Warblades have absolutely incredible stats on them for a fury warrior which is the most important thing in a fury warrior's kit.
Don't listen to everyone else here, they are extremely strong for both factions, especially on single target fights.
